Telegraph Seals of the world.

Some may feel that these come under the heading of 'Cinderella items'. However I have gradually been expanding my scope that was originally defined by the work of S. E. R. Hiscocks.
He was publishing in the form of a book which, for economic reasons was heavily constrained in scope. The internet is freed from those constraints and I have been exploring the topic of telegraphy more fully.
One important aspect is the stationery that was used, including forms, receipts, envelopes and the seals that were sometimes used in securing telegrams for delivery. Some seals even have form numbers marked on them.
As such, seals can be considered as telegraphic stationery, a category that has long been considered to be a valid area of philatelic study.

Contents

Empires and countries with colonies have provided seals for territories under their control.
To avoid duplication, I have listed those items under the countries of the issuing authority.
This may not suit everyone.

This section on Telegram Seals is actually an adjunct to a larger section on Telegraph and Telephone stamps
(also extending the work of Steve Hiscocks).
